April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American actress also known as a model, singer and actress. Her roles included Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. She is best known for her role as Stacy Barrett, the American TV character in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career started with modeling, then she moved onto films and TV series. The first time she appeared was on small screen as an extra on the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. After that, she made the appearance of single episodes on other TV shows. Then she landed the iconic role of Kandi for Two and a Half Men. Her role of Stacy Barrett in the popular TV show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby an immense amount of attention across the globe. Bowlby played the role of Elastigirl/Rita Farr in the American web-based series Titans. A spin-off of the TV series Doom Patrol will see her reprising the character. Bowlby was in TV movies such as Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Bowlby made her debut on the large screen in All Roads Lead Home, and later appeared on the screen in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. Then, more recently, Bowlby was cast in the role as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a 2007 movie about a 12 year old girl that loses her mother in an auto collision. Bowlby stars as Mia in The Slammin Salmon, a comedy film due for release in the year 2008. She is from Los Angeles. Her hair naturally is red, and she has blue eyes. The couple has not been married and she has no children.
