Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) is an American author and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She's been as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File, with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs, along with The Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She graduated from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree in 1983. In 1985 she received her master of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was an attorney at the US Attorney's Office. She worked as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She served as "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Clinton's Impeachment." From 1995 to 2001, she was a tenured professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and was in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has worked as an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
